2004年から、関西を拠点に作家活動を始めています。個展やグループ展をはじめ、雑誌や書籍のイラストレーションの仕事も行っています。2018年、20年間過ごした関西を離れ、鹿児島へ移住。自然と隣りあわせの暮らしの中で、制作しています。風や空気、波の音、季節が巡る中で、その時感じたことを描き続けていきたいと思っています。

ikeda yuko
Painter / Illustrator

Born in Hiroshima, in 1980. Based in Osaka.
Graduated from Osaka Academy of Integrated Design, Illustration Course.

I started working as an artist in the Kansai area of Japan in 2004. Along with participating in solo and group exhibitions, I also draw illustrations for magazines and books. After leaving the Kansai area where I spent 20 years in 2018, I moved to Kagoshima and create artworks throughout my everyday life that’s very close to nature. I hope to keep drawing what I feel in the environment – where the wind, the air, the sound of the waves and the seasons come and go.
